The Wichita Parks Foundation will host Red, White & BOOM!, presented by Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers on Tuesday, July 4th from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. downtown on the Hyatt Lawn. The event is being funded by the volunteer-led, non-profit Wichita Parks Foundation and our generous sponsors. We are extraordinarily grateful that, once again, Freddy's Frozen Custard and Steakburgers returns as our Presenting Sponsor.
This event will feature:
> The Westar Energy Food Court featuring 6 food trucks, starting at 6 p.m. will be open all evening on the KSN TV Lawn, in front of the Hyatt Regency.
>New this year is an Armed Forces Salute, starting at 7 p.m.
> Local dance band, The Astronauts Band, will perform a FREE concert on the Entertainment Stage, starting at 7:30.
> Capping a great day will be the Red, White & BOOM! Fireworks over the Arkansas River, starting at 9:45 PM. Music accompanying the show can be heard throughout the festival area.
